Carly Krasner Leizerson
Carly Krasner Leizerson practices in all areas of matrimonial and family law including high conflict financial cases, child custody, relocation, child support modification actions, and the negotiation of prenuptial and separation agreements. She has also appeared before the Federal Courts in actions brought pursuant to the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of Child Abduction.
A litigator by training, she is a zealous advocate for her clients. Her deep understanding of the unique emotional and financial challenges facing families and individuals during the separation and divorce process allows her to find creative out-of-court solutions whenever possible, and her litigation background provides her with the tools and experience to aggressively litigate cases through trial and appeals, when necessary.
Beginning in 2018 and in all years thereafter, Carly has been recognized by her peers in Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in the areas of matrimonial and family law. She has also been recognized by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys as a “Top 10 Under 40” and by Best Lawyers in America “Ones to Watch”.
Prior to joining the Firm, Carly was an associate at McLaughlin & Stern, LLP, where she practiced matrimonial and family law. Carly received her law degree, cum laude from Pace University School of Law in 2012, where she was the Symposium and Submissions Editor of the Pace International Law Review. Carly is a member of the Family Law Section of the New York State Bar Association.
